Vice-President, Metals

Mr Al-Jabr is the Vice-President of SABIC's Metals strategic business unit. He was also President of SABIC's wholly owned affiliate, the Saudi Iron and Steel Company (HADEED) until the roles were separated in November 2006. 

Mr Al-Jabr joined SABIC in 1981. In 1983 he transferred to HADEED, where he has held positions in sales and marketing, HR, finance and IT.  Most recently he was General Manager of the Finance and Administration group.  Mr Al-Jabr is a board member of the Arabian Industrial Fibers Company (IBN RUSHD), a member of Aluminium Bahrain’s (ALBA's) Peak Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Arab Iron and Steel Union and Director of the International Iron and Steel Institute. 

Mr Al-Jabr has a Bachelor of Administrative Science degree from Riyadh University.
