During the 90 minutes dialogue, CEO Al Mady presented three key messages on how to leverage on BFA as a national collaboration platform to address significant challenges in Aisa and how SABIC can help to be a catalyst of inclusive development and growth for China and the world:

•   Free Trade is about clearing hindrances especially when the world's economies are expected to experience moderate growth in the near future. Inclusiveness means no country should be left behind and everyone will be moving forward. Saudi Arabia and China have excellent bilateral ties and we have a common agenda to promote free trade. China and Middle East enjoy the unique geographic position with raw material advantages especially in oil and gas. Together we can collaborate with other Asian countries and the world to optimize on the limited resources.

•   Resource Management is the answer to energy challenges in Aisa. How can SABIC play a role in sustainability? As a material supplier, SABIC can help with better resource management ranging from energy, gas, oil, water, food. We do this by creating calue-add products that are better and more environmentally friendly that make lives better for the world. For example our material makes light-weight automotive parts now, as compared to 10 years age.

•   Bridging Gaps. Government and Corporations need to be partners to reduce wealth gaps, create social stability and promote education. In SABIC's case, we are a major direct employer for 33,000 employees in more than 40 countries.
