Vice-President, Intermediates

Mr Al-Mana became Vice-President of SABIC's Intermediates strategic business unit in 2002, responsible for chemical intermediates, fibers, and linear alpha olefins.

Mr Al-Mana joined SABIC in 1990 and became the Regional Sales Manager for SABIC Singapore in 1993. Later that year he was appointed chief representative of SABIC Far East Ltd, based in the Taiwan office. In 1998 he became its General Manager, based in Hong Kong, and in 1999 he returned to Singapore as General Manager of SABIC Asia Pacific Ltd.

Mr Al-Mana is Chairman of SABIC Americas, a board member of the Saudi Iron and Steel Company (HADEED), and a member of SABIC’s Research and Technology executive committee.

Mr Al-Mana gained his BEng degree from Meiji University, Tokyo, in 1984 and earned an MSc in engineering from the National Taiwan University in 1989. He speaks both Japanese and Chinese fluently
