Customer Technical Support

Research and technology are at the core of SABIC’s operations and its vision for the future. We invest heavily in research programs over all our product categories to maintain our reputation as innovators and to keep our competitive lead. Our advanced technology, however, is only as useful to us as it is to our customers. That is why we provide comprehensive Customer Technical Support (CTS) services directly to our customers in Saudi Arabia and worldwide.

Our CTS department was created to serve all our customers’ needs by providing superior technical support – from skilled engineers and experts on all aspects of our products and services.

How can CTS help you?

Direct technical support

CTS was specifically set up to deal with every single aspect of the plastic processing industry. In addition to providing our customers with full support on SABIC polymers, we also provide information on other factors related to the machinery, tools and activities involved in plastic production. We also help customers develop their products and find new applications for their creations.

Handling complaints

At SABIC, we consider customer complaints to be opportunities for improvement. Investigating the causes of complaints is CTS’s core responsibility. Our engineers are supported by well equipped fabrication and analytical laboratories where the root causes of problems are identified and corrective measures are taken.

Product certification

Packaging industries, especially those involved in food, require approvals from the authorities such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Commission (EC). CTS ensures that all SABIC’s products comply with these regulations.

Literature

Detailed technical literature of individual grades and troubleshooting guides are developed and updated by CTS, who make them available to our customers on request. For our contact details please see the bottom of this page.

Customer training program

SABIC enjoys a unique position in the plastics industry as the supplier of choice to thousands of customers worldwide. We provide high-quality training to help our customers get the most out of our products. Our customer training program has been running since 1999 and we regularly run technical seminars to help our customers improve the way they use SABIC products.
