• Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Basic Industries Co. (SABIC)

• Chairman & Member of Board of Directors of Utility of Water & Electricity Company in Jubail and Yanbu.

• Deputy Chairman of Prince Salman’s Social Center.

• Member of the Royal Family Board.

Previous Work Experience:

Started Carrier in 1977 as an Engineer in Riyadh Municipality.

Job Responsibilities in Riyadh Municipality Including:

• Worked as a Director General for Survey and Drawings.

• Worked as a Director General for Operation and Maintenance during period of 1460H to 1409H.

• Assigned as an Undersecretary for the Planning & Programs at the Ministry of Municipality & Rural Affairs in 06/03/1409H (1989)

• Appointed as an Undersecretary for the Planning & Programs at the Ministry of Municipality & Rural Affairs for the Planning & Programs in 17/03/1410H (1990)

• Royal Decree was issued in 08/01/1422H appointing His Highness as Chairman of Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.

• Royal Decree was issued in 24/07/1426H mandating to hire Chairman of Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu from Ministerial Grade into Minister Grade.

• Chairman of the Board of Directors of Water & Wastewater Treatment in Riyadh Area.

• Board of Directors of Water & Wastewater Treatment in Makkah Area.

• Board of Directors of Water and Wastewater Treatment in the Eastern Province.

Also His Highness is a member among several among several committees formed by a Royal Decree to enquire the needs of Al-Jouf, Jizan, Northern Boarder and Hail Areas. As well as the villages and areas of the western cost, the needs of Yanbu Governorates.

Also as a member of a Joint Committee to coordinate and follow-up the works between the Ministry of Municipality and Rural Affairs, The Ministry of Transportation, The Ministry of Agriculture and the Higher Committee for Childhood.

In addition, His Highness had an effective and vital role in several development programmes which was witnessed by the Ministry of Municipality and Rural Affairs, i.e.…Municipality and Rural Complexes-Chives Performance Development Programs and Municipality Cooperation, Value Engineering Studies Program, and Privatization of Municipality Activities Program, etc…

His Highness has also participated in a number of forums and scientific seminars in the Kingdom and abroad during which he presented a number of researches, work pages in the field of municipality works, economical, industrial and investment affairs. His Highness has a special interest in the field of social and cultural activities as well.
