SABIC is currently participating in the Big 5 Show in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, which was opened on October 28 and runs until early November 2006.

SABICs pavilion saw a large number of visitors, led by the Deputy Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in the presence of Ambassador Hamoud bin Farraj Ibn Nader Consul General-Dubai & North Emirates.

SABIC was represented in this show by the Saudi Iron and Steel Company (HADEED, a wholly owned affiliate of SABIC. HADEED Company is the largest steel producer in the region. Visitors were briefed on samples of the long and flat steel products made according to the latest state-of-the-art technology and enjoy the highest levels of quality.
