SABIC signed today (November 25, 2006) a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH, Germany, for the preparation of basic design package for its new polypropylene catalyst plant. The plant will be located at SABIC R&T complex in Riyadh.

Ali S. Al-Khuraimi, vice president, SABIC R&T, signed the LOI on behalf of SABIC while Uwe Rathman, regional general manager, Linde Company signed the LOI on behalf of Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH. The plant annual production capacity is 180 tons.
