Dr. Abdulrahman Abdullah Al-Humaidi is the Vice Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA). He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Oregon, USA.

Before his current assignment, Al-Humaidi has held important positions including, Director of Training, SAMA; Director General, Economic Research & Statistics, SAMA; and Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, SAMA, besides teaching economics at the King Saud University.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of SAMA, Saudi Industrial Development Fund, Arab Monetary Fund – Abu Dhabi, Saudi Fund for Development, Saudi Post Corporation, Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority, The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance, and The Saudi Stock Exchange Company (Tadawul).
