Vice President, Polymers SBU

Mr. Abdulsalam Al-Mazro is the Vice President of Polymers SBU.  Before taking up this position, he was General Manager,  responsible for Global Marketing of Polyolefins.

He joined Sabic in 1982, in one of its affiliates (SADAF), as a Process Engineer.  He was assigned to work in the United States with Shell Chemicals, Sadaf JV partner.   He worked in several key positions in Sabic, such as Marketing, Operations, Planning and Technical Support.

In addition, Mr. AL-Mazro is currently the Chairman of Board of Directors Sabic India and Chairman of the Board SABIC Petrokimya in Turkey. He has also held the chairmanship of Scientific Design Inc. and was also Board member of several of Sabic Affiliates such as Kemya, Yanpet, Sharq, Gas and Ibn Rushd.

He is a Chemical Engineer by profession holds MBA from Bradford University U.K.
