Executive Vice-President, Fertilizers

Fahd Ibn Saad Al Sheaibi, SABIC Vice President, Fertilizers (SABIC), is a holder of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from King Saud University and has received a number of advanced training programs in the United States and Europe.
In SABIC, he contributed, alongside a distinct group of his fellow founders, to building this pioneer edifice, where he played a major role in establishing the first Marketing Department within SABIC Marketing Company Ltd., and in developing marketing plans at the local, regional and global levels. He was appointed as General Manager, SABIC Europe with the aim to establishing a network for marketing SABIC products in the European market. Afterwards, he was assigned the responsibilities of Vice President, Sales. He was responsible for marketing SABIC products worldwide.
With the restructuring of SABIC and the global expansion and growth of products, he participated in the leadership team in working to accomplish the acquisition of DSM Petrochemicals. He was assigned several consecutive responsibilities, namely: President, Intermediates in addition to the responsibilities of "polymers". In 1998, within the framework of the strategic units, he was appointed to the post of "President, Polymers Group. Following the restructuring in 2002, he was appointed Vice President, PVC and Polyester until he was appointed Vice President, Fertilizer beginning October 2006.
Al Sheaibi was selected a member of several boards of directors, including : the Board of Directors of SABIC Europe Global Marketing Ltd. (SMEL / SGL), the Saudi Yanbu Petrochemicals Company (YANPET), SABIC Europe, and Chairman of Al-Jubail Fertilizer Company (Al-BAYRONI). Then he was elected Chairman of the Arab Fertilizers Association (AFA) and a permanent member for SABIC affiliates. He worked as a member of several executive committees within SABIC, including : FANAR, EMDAD, R&T.
Al Sheaibi actively participates in different numerous local, regional and international conferences, symposiums and executive committees. This is in addition to his distinctive contributions in attracting, training and developing management skills and human resources development, which had a deep impact on the effectiveness in chartering SABIC’s strategic and future visions towards further achievements.
