Executive Vice-President, Corporate Control

In his current capacity as Executive Vice President of Corporate Control, Mr. Al-Tuwaijri is responsible for SABIC Global Governance functions of Legal Affairs, Internal Audit, Safety, Security, Health, the Environment, , Enterprise Risk Management and Business Process and Data Quality Governance Center.
 
Before his present assignment, Mr. Homood Al-Tuwaijri was Vice-President of Petrochemicals Coordination; and prior to that he was Vice-President of Corporate Finance.

Mr. Al-Tuwaijri graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a master’s in industrial engineering in 1983.

Mr. Al-Tuwaijri also holds the following positions:

• Chairman of the Board of Directors, Al Jubail Petrochemical Company (Kemya).
• Chairman of the Board of Directors, Saudi Yanbu Petrochemical Company (Yanpet).
• Member of the Board of Directors, Power & Water Utility Company for Jubail & Yanbu (MARAFIQ).
• Member of the Board of Supervisory Directors, SABIC Capital B.V.
• Member of National Committee for Clean Development. (Ministry of Petroleum & Mineral Resources)
• Member of National Committee for Biodiversity. (National Commission for wildlife Conservation and Development)
• Member of the Board of Directors, Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C (Alba).
• Chairman of the Executive Steering Committee for SABIC Global Supply Chain Project.
• Member of  the Executive Steering Committee for SABIC Leadership Development
• Member of the Steering Committee for SABIC Learning Center
• Member of the Disabled Children Society, Riyadh.
