Vice-President, Corporate Control

Before his current assignment, Mr. Homood Al-Tuwaijri was Vice-President of Petrochemicals Coordination. Prior to these assignments, Mr. Al-Tuwaijri was Vice-President of Corporate Finance, spearheading SABIC’s globalization drive and ensuring that its profits grew in a sustainable way.

Mr. Al-Tuwaijri graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a master’s in industrial engineering in 1983.

Mr. Al-Tuwaijri also holds the following positions:

• Former Member of the board of Directors, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.

• Member of the Board of Supervisory directors, SABIC Innovative Plastics.

• Member of the Board of Supervisory Directors, SABIC Europe BV.

• Chairman of the Board, Al Jubail Petrochemical Company (Kemya).

• Chairman of the Board, Saudi Yanbu Petrochemical Company (Yanpet).

• Member of the Board of Directors, Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C (Alba).

• Former Chairman of the Board, Arabian Petrochemical Company (PETROKEMYA).

• Former Chairman of the Board, International Shipping and Transportation Company Ltd.

• Chairman of the Executive Steering Committee for SABIC’s Business Transformation Project (Fanar).

• Chairman of the Executive Steering Committee for SABIC Global Supply Chain Project (EMDAD).

• Member of the Disabled Children Society, Riyadh.
