Vice-President, Specialty Products

Mr Al-Kharboush is the Vice-President of Specialty Products , and was formerly Vice President of Shared Services and  the executive in charge of SABIC’s Business Transformation Project, known as Fanar, which is the Arabic word for lighthouse.

Mr Al-Kharboush earned his master’s degree in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University. He began his SABIC career in 1982 at Al-Jubail Petrochemical Company (KEMYA). He worked in many areas of KEMYA including packaging and shipping, systems and communications, process control systems and maintenance. He was appointed Vice-President of Polyolefins in 1998, and became SABIC’s Business Transformation Project Executive in 2000.
