SABIC’s global presence continues to grow rapidly. Our ambitious plans for expansion are matched by the development of an infrastructure of manufacturing plants, distribution centers, offices and storage facilities worldwide. This enables us to respond efficiently to the needs of our customers in key markets around the world.

SABIC in the Middle East and Africa

With our headquarters in Riyadh and many of our major facilities located here, this region is the springboard for our global business success. In Africa, we currently have a sales office in Cairo, Egypt and a distribution and storage center in Durban, South Africa.

SABIC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is based in Singapore. It is responsible for all our sales and marketing in Asia.

SABIC in the Americas

SABIC Americas Inc. is an independent, wholly owned US corporate subsidiary of SABIC. SABIC Americas employs more than 100 people in Houston, Texas. It is active in sales, marketing and business development and also houses one of our overseas research centers – the SABIC Technology Center at Houston. Established in 1997, this state-of-the-art facility covers more than 38,000 square feet.

SABIC in Europe

SABIC Europe now owns two petrochemical plants in Europe: one in Geleen in the Netherlands, the other in Gelsenkirchen, Germany These sites produce, market, and sell polypropylenes, polyethylenes and hydrocarbons. SABIC Europe annually sells 2.5 million metric tons of polymers and 3.1 million metric tons of basic chemicals, mainly in Europe, and employs 2,350 people.
