SABIC’s Technology and Innovation (T&I) division works closely with our strategic business units to help us improve our manufacturing processes and develop new technologies. These innovations strengthen our technical know-how and give us a vital competitive edge, allowing our affiliates – and our customers – to improve the quality of their products.

OUR TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION CENTERS

We have significant research resources with 17 dedicated Technology & Innovation facilities in Saudi Arabia, the USA, the Netherlands, Spain, Japan, India and South Korea, backed by more than 8,000 patents.

GLOBAL NETWORK DEVELOPMENT

These satellite research centers are at the heart of our program of ‘global network development’, a term that describes our focus on developing technology at our network of technology centers where it will be most useful. Our success in doing this has enabled our expansion across different markets and countries. 
Our T&I activities in different countries have given us the technical expertise to provide outstanding customer service, which for us is a matter of pride.
