Executive Vice-President, Metals

Before taking up his current post as Vice-President of Metals in April 2009, Mr. Al-Humaid was the President of Saudi Iron and Steel Company (HADEED).
 
Earlier he was the President of Al Jubail Petrochemical Co. (KEMYA) and National Industrial Gases Co. (GAS).

From 1996 to 2000, he was the Senior Vice President of Arabian Petrochemical Company (PETROKEMYA), where he started his career in 1981.

He is currently the Board Chairman of Saudi Iron and Steel Co. (HADEED) and the National Industrial Gases Company (GAS).

Mr. Al-Humaid is also on the board of Aluminum Bahrain (ALBA), Gulf Aluminum Rolling Mill Co. (GARMCO), Bahrain, and the Royal Commission Colleges and Institutes for Jubail and Yanbu.

He acquired a BS degree in Chemical Engineering Science from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 1981.
