Hazards and safety
Compressed gas. In high concentration it may cause asphyxiation.
Applications
Enhanced computerized medical topography and Xenon magnetic resonance is used for measuring blood flows in the brain and respiratory tract. In the field of anesthesia as an alternative to nitrous oxide. High intensity lamps used in hospital operating theaters rely on Xenon.
Storage and handling
Suck back of water into the container must be prevented. Do not allow back feed into the container. Use only the properly specified equipment which is suitable for this product, its supply pressure and temperature. Contact you gas supplier if in doubt. Refer to supplier’s container handling instructions. Keep container below 50°C in a well ventilated place.

Crude Krypton/Xenon mixture is supplied in cylinders.
