Description
A white crystalline powder with a slight acidic odor. It is mildly irritating to the eyes, skin and respiratory tract.

Applications
PTA is mainly used in the production of polyester products, including polyethylene terphthalate (PET), follows reaction with glycol, reagent for alkali in wool and an additive to poultry feeds.
Storage and handling
Multi ply paper bag with sealed plastic liner or heavy gauge plastic bag. Check that all containers are clearly labeled and free from leaks.
