Hazards and safety
HADEED steel products are not hazardous materials. HADEED steel products are safe to use for end applications.
Applications
Used in construction of steel structural buildings, air conditioning and refrigerator units, manufacturing of pipes and tubes, pressure vessels and storage tanks, containers, automobile body parts, household appliances & general engineering applications.
Storage and handling
Hot rolled pickled, cold rolled & cold rolled-galvanized products are to be stored in indoor warehouses to protect them from dust, moisture & water etc. to avoid corrosion. Steel products are to be handled carefully to avoid edge damage and surface dents during loading and unloading. Steel products are to be covered properly while in transit to avoid water seepage.
Packaging
Different steel products are packed as per standard practice which protects the product from edge damage and surface quality etc.
Operating companies
Saudi Iron and Steel Company (HADEED).
