SABIC honored for participating in industrial security exhibition

SABIC has been honored for participating as a Platinum sponsor in the 18th International Industrial Security Exhibition and Conference at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 21 to 23, under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, who is also the President of the High Commission for Industrial Security.
A plaque of honor was presented by Abdul Rahman bin Ali Al-Robayaan, Deputy Minister of Interior, to Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, SABIC Vice Chairman and CEO, on the opening day of the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Benyan highlighted SABIC’s leading role in the field of industrial security, and its efforts to spread security awareness within the company and in the communities where it operates. He further spoke about the key pillars of industrial security management and highlighted the challenges in this field.
During a tour of the exhibition after the inaugural ceremony, Al-Robayaan visited the SABIC pavilion where he was briefed on the company’s vast experience in industrial security and its efforts to safeguard communities at its manufacturing sites.
SABIC’s participation in the event underscores its commitment to maintain high standards in industrial security as a leading manufacturing company in the Kingdom and as part of its national responsibility.
The conference and exhibition has attracted a number of international security, safety and firefighting professionals, technical solution providers, representatives of energy and services companies, and opinion makers.
