HOI PARTICIPANT, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, SHOWCASES ADVANCED EV CHARGERS AT SABIC SITES

Schneider Electric, a participant of the Home of Innovation™ program, has installed advanced EV chargers at three SABIC locations – one designated for home use at the HoI Demonstration Center, and two for public parking use at HoI and SABIC Academy parking lots.

Schneider Electric’s EV chargers have already established their presence throughout the Kingdom in residential development projects, malls, office building and hotels complying with the SASO regulations.

The installed Schneider Electric EV charger at the Demonstration Center, the Schneider Charge, was especially designed to be integrated within the HoI’s existing infrastructure for ease of use while having the manufacturing integrity to withstand weathering conditions within our region.

The EV chargers installed in the parking lot are the EVlink Pro AC model, deployed and configured by Schneider Electric’s local eMobility partner, ST Engineering Saudi Limited. These chargers are engineered to withstand high temperatures, direct sunlight, and extreme weather conditions, ensuring consistent and optimal performance.

Depending on the type of electric vehicle, the installed chargers can deliver a full charge within just a few hours, according to a Schneider Electric statement.
