Before assuming his current responsibilities, Mr. Al-Ghamdi was Vice President, People & Organization Center of Excellence. Prior to this, he also held the position of Vice President, Total Rewards. Over 28 years at SABIC with 18 years in leadership roles, Mr. Al-Ghamdi led various HR domains, such as General Manager, Global HR Business Partner, Global Executive Compensation, Global Mobility, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and others HR projects.
Alongside his executive leadership responsibilities, he assumed membership in several Boards of Directors and sub-committees; in SABIC operated and non-operated JV’s.
Mr. Al-Ghamdi holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and completed executive development programs at IMD.
