Animal Welfare Guidance
SABIC is committed to ensure the safety of our products throughout the full product’s life cycle. The assessment of product safety depends on data that may originate from computational modeling, new approach methodologies (NAMs) or - if unavoidable - from experimental animal testing. SABIC currently follows the “3R Concept” for safety testing: Reduce, Refine and Replace animal testing as much as possible without compromising on product safety.

Product Stewardship in Associations and Councils
SABIC Product Stewardship is engaged in a variety of associations and councils globally to help develop strong product safety standards, advance toxicological sciences and to support sound regulatory compliance practices.
