BASIC OPERATION TRAINING PROGRAM
SABIC—Basic Operation Training Program (TADARRUJ) is designed for potential high school graduates to undergo English, technical, and theoretical training. After which, trainees will start on-the-job training (OJT) at their SABIC affiliates.

REQUIREMENTS
- The applicant has to be Saudi
- Must have received his high school certificate
- Must have passed the necessary medical examination

- Should not be more than 24 years of age

TAMHEER
Program Objective:
SABIC, in collaboration with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), aims to qualify and train Saudi graduates from universities, colleges, and institutes through the TAMHEER Program. The program provides participants with the opportunity to gain essential skills and experiences that prepare them to effectively participate in the labor market.
Program Scope:
The program applies to Saudi graduates who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Human Resources Development Fund for the TAMHEER Program.
Acceptance Requirements:
In addition to the eligibility criteria required by HRDF, the following conditions must be met before acceptance:
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4, or 3.5 out of 5.
- The applicant must pass the selection tests determined by SABIC.
Training Duration:
The training period is a minimum of three months and a maximum of six months.
Application Process
SABIC publishes available training opportunities through the HRDF “TAQAT” platform where the candidates can apply.
SABIC COOPERATIVE TRAINING PROGRAM
At SABIC, we are committed to fostering strong partnerships with national universities and colleges through our Cooperative Training Program (Coop).
This program is designed for final-year students who are about to graduate, providing them with valuable opportunities to apply their academic knowledge in a real business environment.
Whichever development path you choose, SABIC offers university and college students like you the chance to sharpen your skills while gaining vital professional experience and knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS
- Coop training should be a graduation requirement by universities or colleges
- Applicants must be nominated by their university or college
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 out of 4 or 3.50 out of 5
- Coop applicants must be medically fit.
- Applicant must not have graduated from the university or college
SABIC Scholarship Program
SABIC Scholarship Program aims to attract Saudi young talents who want to pursue their undergraduate degree inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or abroad in specialized science and business majors defined and driven annually by the company business demands. Through this program, SABIC aims to prepare the young Saudi talents with the targeted skills and knowledge to drive the company ambitious growth towards it vision “To be the preferred world leader in chemicals”.

First: University Scholarship Program for Fresh High School Graduates
Scholarship Requirements:
- The applicant must be a Saudi national.
- The applicant must not be more than 20 years old.
- The applicant must be a fresh graduate of high school, General Track, Computer Science and Engineering Track, or have an International high school Track, or high school abroad.
- The applicant must have an overall Cumulative GPA of no less than 90% in the high school.
- The applicant must have a score of no less than 85 points in the General Aptitude Test (Qudurat).
- The applicant must have a score of no less than 85 points in the Academic Achievement Test (Tahsili).
- The applicant must have a minimum score of (65) in the Standardized Test of English Proficiency (STEP) or its equivalent (4.5 in IELTS Academic) / (TOEFL iBT 45) for applicant of Internal scholarships.
- For scholarships, the applicant must be admitted to one of the following universities:
- King Abdulaziz University (Jeddah)
- King Saud University (Riyadh)
- King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (Dhahran)
- Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (Riyadh)
- Applicants will be selected based on the high school grade point average, General Aptitude Test (Qudurat), Academic Achievement Test (Tahsili), English Proficiency Score and as per the Company’s needs.
Nomination stage:
SABIC contacts the universities to collect data on eligible students, then sends SMS invitation to register after the comparison (based on the High school GPA, General Aptitude Test (Qudurat) and Academic Achievement Test (Tahsili) during the first semester of the new academic year after enrolling in the universities mentioned above with the required Majors and conditions.
What Happens after nomination stage:
- Applicants will be selected based on the high school grade point average, General Aptitude Test (Qudurat), Academic achievement test (Tahsili), English proficiency score, and as per the Company’s needs.
- Selected applicants will be invited for a personal interview.
- Selected applicants will complete the medical examinations necessary for admission to the program.

Second: University Continuation Scholarship Program
Scholarship Requirements:
- The applicant must be a Saudi national
- The applicant must not be more than 24 years old
- currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the Kingdom or out of Kingdom in a discipline required by the company in the specific year.
- Studying on a full-time basis
- Have completed at least 30 semester credits or equivalent toward your degree, out of which at least nine semester credits are in the major related subjects (Excluding the foundation year in KSA)
- Have completed at least 45 quarter hours or equivalent toward your degree, out of which at least 12 hours are in the major related subjects.
- If the study is based on the annual system (United Kingdom), two years of study including Foundation Year’ must be completed and a grade of no less than (46%) must be obtained.
- In the event of completing or exceeding 100 semester credits, graduation should not be in the same semester, by considering the year of graduation match SABIC Demand in the same year.
- Applicant must have a minimum Cumulative GPA (2.75 out of 4) or equivalent.
- Applicant must have a minimum score of (80) in STEP (Standardized Test of English Proficiency) or its equivalent (6 in IELTS Academic) / (TOEFL iBT 70).
- Additional condition for China Applicant must have a minimum score of (5) in (HSK).
Nomination stage:
Universities will be contacted directly to nominate students who meet the criteria and invite them to register.
What Happens after nomination stage:
- Applicants will be selected based on the GPA, English proficiency score, and the required major.
- Selected applicants will be invited for a personal interview.
- Selected applicants will complete the medical examinations necessary for admission to the program.
