The MOU was signed by Omar Al-Amoudi, SABIC Executive Vice President, Engineering & Project Management, and Thabet Al-Sawyeed, Governor and General Secretary of SCA and will support knowledge sharing between the organizations and help embed best practices in contracting.

Commenting on the MoU, Yousef Al-Benyan, SABIC Vice Chairman and CEO, said: “SABIC is proud to work with SCA to support and guide the construction sector through sharing its long experience in construction management, contracting, sustainability, and contractor qualification and selection.”

He added: “Signing of the MOU with SCA signals that we recognize the importance of sharing the contracting best practices we have developed and are confident that this effort will stimulate the national economy and local content, achieve industry-leading performance and leverage technology innovation.”
