SABIC showcases broader high-performance material solutions at Chinaplas 2026

SABIC, a global leader in diversified chemicals, is participating in CHINAPLAS 2026 in Shanghai under the theme “Reaching New Heights Together”, with an expanded portfolio of advanced material and application solutions across four strategic growth areas - Life, Renewable Energy, Smart Device and Transportation.

As China advances manufacturing upgrading and higher-value industrial development, SABIC is showcasing how advanced materials and strengthened local capabilities help customers enhance product performance, accelerate innovation and build long-term competitiveness, contributing to broader industrial and societal progress.

SABIC is demonstrating a broadened portfolio of products and solutions supporting fast-evolving end markets at CHINAPLAS 2026, marking the company’s 29^th year of participation. Under the “Life” section, SABIC highlights its flexible packaging solutions, alongside new offerings from the SABIC Fujian Petrochemical Complex, supporting a wide range of everyday-use products. In the “Renewable Energy” section, SABIC presents materials engineered for demanding energy systems, including FORTIFY™ POE, which delivers critical reliability and long-term stability under challenging conditions.

Expanding into emerging applications, the “Smart Device” area marks the first time SABIC demonstrates comprehensive solutions designed for the humanoid robotics industry. Building on innovation across the value chain, the “Transportation” area features a polyurethane reaction injection molding sample, further enriching SABIC’s portfolio for electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.

This year, SABIC also features a dedicated display as a major highlight, presenting products to be manufactured at the SABIC Fujian Petrochemical Complex following its planned startup in the second half of 2026, including expanded offerings in polyethylene, polypropylene and polycarbonate.
